Preparations

I'm new to this world of blogging. In fact, up until now, I scoffed at the thought of creating a journal for all the world wide web to see. In light of my fast-approaching trip, however, I'm hoping this simple little site will allow anyone who might be interested to live Europe vicariously through me.
